As the only 100% channel-focused exhibition of its size, Channel Live will assess the continuing impact of Digital Transformation, the march towards SaaS, Cyber Security, market regulations and much more, whilst providing visitors with the ideal platform to meet forward thinking suppliers and partners to help them on their business journey. In this pre-event piece, we take a look at some of the latest updates from the show.

TalkTalk Business re-sign as main sponsors!

After the success of last year’s event, TTB has once again taken the main sponsorship for the Channel Live event. We asked Richard Thompson, Director of Partners, TalkTalk Business, why it was important for TalkTalk Business to support this industry event.

“TalkTalk Business is proud to be headline sponsors of Channel Live this year. Over two days, this event showcases the best in the industry and, as a disruptive tier 1 carrier entirely focused on serving the channel, we’re excited to work with like-minded companies that aren’t afraid to push the boundaries.

“Channel Live this year is bigger, better and bolder, just like TalkTalk Business! I’m looking forward to catching up with our long-term partners whilst further strengthening our relationship with businesses that are new to the channel.”

Alex Tatham

Alex Tatham

Alex Tatham, Managing Director, Westcoast
In his keynote, Direct, Cloud, Dell, Brexit, Amazon, E-Tail, Retail, Finance, Services – is distribution relevant in the current climate?, Alex Tatham, one of the channel’s best known and longest serving champions, will give Channel Live attendees the view that distribution is more relevant now than it has ever been.

Changed? Yes! Changing? Absolutely! Influential? Alex will argue that distribution will be more critical than ever in a digitally transformed world. He will show attendees, whether resellers or vendors, why distribution is THE key to success, why the direct model is a thing of the past and why the cost/benefit analysis for distribution is so compelling.

Tatham said: “Westcoast is supporting Channel Live because it provides an opportunity for resellers from all channels – voice, data, office, connectivity, AV, Print, specialist, and many that are just curious – to learn how the IT Channel can help them and to come away with both knowledge and implementation plans that very few UK events can provide. The variety of companies attending and the opportunity to engage with channel managers will save any attendee both time and money. It will be two days well spent.”
